At Enterprise 2.0 here in Boston, IBM and Oracle are pushing portals as the ‘glue’ to connect Web 2.0 apps, oversee governance, etc. Question is now open standards, portability for gadgets, etc. so tools can be used across portals. Question from customers to vendors: Will Tool X work with my existing environment?
